Californian Beauties

To begin 2013 on the right foot, we have just had a lovely batch 
of boards fresh in from the Californian bakery. 30 to be precise. It is awesome to be surrounded by so many beauties from Bing, Nineplus, DXTR, Jacobs and even a 10ft con ugly! They are already starting to move, so if you have your eye on one we are open on Friday and Saturday this week.

Heres to Another Year...

So this is our last post of 2012! Just wanted to wish all our friends, family, customers & suppliers a very happy Christmas, it has been quite a year. Thanks for being a part of it... it would not be the same without you!

We shall leave you with a photo taken by David Muir in Morrocco. It is a amazing shot and just captures the beauty, the stoke and the awe of surfing. We are blessed, amongst it all. See you on the flip side...

Testing out the New Hand Planes

Body surfing is the simplest and some might say purest way to surf. In the last few years it is having a bit of a resurgence. Partly due to new film releases (Come Hell or High Water) and maybe due to a new generation discovering the beauty and stoke of body surfing.

North Devon local Joel Blackman has been on the body surfing train for a wee while. He has recently brought out some new handplanes and has been testing them out at Croyde Beach. Joel has started a range made out of foam, giving you more float and the opportunity to create unique and high performing designs. He is one of the few guys in the UK to be doing this. They are in our store for you to check out. Could make a cool crimbo present.
